Creative Futures evening reception, short talks and networking

We invite school students, parents/families, undergraduates, recent graduates, career changers and creative businesses to an evening of dynamic short talks and networking. Hear a number of diverse speakers share their professional creative journeys and plenty of practical advice for building the skills and qualities essential to gain an edge into entering this exciting and fast moving industry.
Areas covered will include marketing, design communication, digital marketing, animation, video and film, photography, business writing and editing, PR and creative/tech start up, and an opportunity to find out about Creative Apprenticeships.
The event is free to attend and guests will enjoy a complimentary glass or two of wine We’ll be creating a relaxed and social environment to bring together students and businesses for inspiration, ideas and knowledge exchange and most importantly the opportunity to open new contacts.
School students are particularly welcome. The event will be more grown-up than the daytime which will enable them to gain first-hand experience of an adult environment in a safe and guided way. It is also a good opportunity for parents to find out more about what their sons and daughters are interested in doing as a career.
